Listing details for 0 Julep Rd, Yates Center, KS 66783 : This gorgeous 100 acre property has been manicured by its current owner to promote both beauty and wildlife. Thousands of oak trees along with a few hickory trees ensure an abundant food source for the many wild animals on this property. Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Rabbits, Squirrels, Bobwhite Quail and many other species of wildlife are abundantly present. There is significant elevation changes on this property as well as a natural spring, one small pond and a couple of food plots. On a 4-wheeler trail tour of the property, I twice witnessed deer in the middle of the day. This property features a one-room cabin with a magnificent view and an attached screened in porch. All of the wildlife pictures were taken with a hand-held digital camera right in the yard at the cabin (no trail cameras). The property is only about 7 miles from Toronto Lake and about 3 miles from Woodson Lake. Only about 100 miles from Topeka or Wichita, this property makes a great weekend retreat.
