Charming and unique, this JC Nichols built home is immaculate, providing the best of both worlds- old world flair coupled with updated functionality. It features a tastefully renovated kitchen with custom cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and fresh tile backsplash. The cozy first-floor mother-in-law's suite currently serves as a TV room/office, but easily transforms into a guest room with the sofa-bed in place. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has been redesigned to perfection, with room to sit and read, plus TWO spacious clothing closets and a linen closet to boot. In the second upstairs bedroom, you'll find quaint built-ins, dormers and plenty of closet space. More surprises await though- the remodeled hall bath is gorgeous, roomy and stylish. The dry, walk-out basement boasts a comfy, retro cabin-themed family room complete with knotty pine and egress window which could double as an additional bedroom, and separate laundry room/utility room. Do you like to be near coffee shops and restaurants? This has it all! On nearby Gregory, you'll find an array of restaurants, coffee shops and a brewery, and it's just a short block to Académie Lafayette. The basement garage is in use every day with plenty of room for two cars tandem, if needed. So much new to love here- plus a brand new roof, freshly stained deck, and the sewer line has been pipe burst already! The yard is landscaped to perfection with an abundance of over 30 gorgeous perennials to delight you next spring. This home is a gem you must see to believe!
